“These goods provided warmth, comfort and hygiene to people in need and in the most extreme cases at -5 temperatures they may well have saved lives.”

The rising cost of living, combined with increasingly complex mental health challenges, has fuelled a sharp rise in homelessness across Kingston.

We awarded a grant to Kingston Churches Against Homelessness to support their Winter Night Shelter, aiding 30 local people experiencing homelessness each night. Our grant provided sleeping bags, underwear, and socks for 80 people. We also supplied the "Warm Spaces, Hot Food" leaflet, detailing locations and times for hot meals and warm welcomes.
