“I was able to access fresh, healthy produce and connect with fellow community members. It's not just about the food; it's about the sense of belonging and the opportunity to learn and grow.”

We all have the privilege of enjoying one of the most beautiful London Boroughs, with stunning scenery on our doorstep, everywhere we go.

Charitable organisations, like Kingston Environment Centre who work tirelessly at the Hogsmill Community Garden go a very long way in making this happen.

The project they applied for a grant to support was to pay for the printing of educational materials, and refreshments for their wonderful volunteers; 150 of them in total. They bought horticultural supplies such as pots, compost, seedlings, seeds, plus replacement of broken tools and educational workshop materials.

Equipping this dedicated army of volunteers was key to their success in their work that is appreciated by countless many.

“Our community garden project, providing fresh produce and a sense of community to our residents. It's heartwarming to see the positive impact of the funding on the lives of those we serve. We couldn't have achieved this without your help.”
