About us
Kingston Charitable Foundation launched as an independent charity in February 2021 (formerly Love Kingston) which, during its 8 years as a community fundraising project, awarded 53 grants to local charitable organisations.
Over the last year, Kingston Charitable Foundation has awarded over 47 grants in the borough of Kingston upon Thames.

What we do
Kingston Charitable Foundation supports local charities and volunteer organisations that address inequalities across Kingston. By working together, we help create opportunities for those that are most in need. We invest in these groups by distributing grants and sharing available resources to bring about positive change.
Kingston Charitable Foundation relies on the generosity of individuals, businesses and public sector organisations to help in its mission to provide need to those whose needs are now, while also investing in long-term funds to provide a brighter future for all the communities within the Kingston borough.
We take a management contribution on all funds managed by the Foundation which is re-invested in staff time to run our efficient and effective grant programmes, conduct full due diligence, and provide practical support and advice to local community projects.
Our impact
We established our Grants Programme when we launched, and over the course of our first year, we have awarded over 20 grants to charitable organisations and groups. You can read about our impact, in our recent Impact Report; published in June 2022.

Kingston Charitable Foundation is a local, independent charity with a small team of dedicated staff members, and supportive Trustees. It's a great place to work and volunteer, if you would like to help make a difference to people's lives.
